On Wednesday, June 4, 2014, 18.00 (German time), Prof. Nicola Di Cosmo (Princeton, USA) will be giving a lecture entitled "The Ecology of Chinggis Khan : What Climate Science can tell us about the Mongol Conquest”. He will be speaking about the reasons for the rise of the Mongol empire under Chinggis Khan and presenting new archaeological, historical and scientific data.
We would like to inform you that the lecture will be streamed live into the Foundation’s Science Portal L.I.S.A. (http://www.lisa.gerda-henkel-stiftung.de). Comments are possible on Twitter (Hashtag #caconf). The lecture will be in English and translated simultaneously into German and Russian.
We would be happy to have you among our online visitors and would be grateful if you could forward this information to scientists who are interested in following the lecture live on the internet or draw attention to this talk at your university as is convenient.
